The Tasting Room is open Tuesday through Friday from 4-8pm, and Saturday from 12-6pm. No reservations are required.
Tours are free and start about once an hour. Beer tasters/samples are not included with tours and are purchased separately. We serve a variety of our own beers, as well as some occasional guest taps. We also have a reserve bottle list, and a small selection of cider and wine.
We are a family friendly business. All ages are welcome!
We ask that all pets (except service animals) stay outside on the patio.
We have a selection of Lowcountry Kettle chips and People’s Choice Beef Jerky.
A schedule of food trucks and pop-ups can be found here.
Yes! Bottles, cans, and crowler fills are available for retail sales during tasting and tour hours. We sell new 32oz single use aluminum can Crowlers. Additionally, we will fill any 32oz or 64oz growler you bring in. View the full list of To Go items here.
We can sell a maximum of 288 oz. of beer per person in a 24 hour period for off-premise consumption. We cannot sell kegs from the brewery.
Beer sold for on-premise consumption and off-premise consumption must be sold at retail price.
No, we no longer rent the space for private events or schedule private tours. The regular tour hours on Tuesday/Wednesday are usually much less busy than Thursday – Saturday and are the best times to come if you want a more personal tour experience.
At this time we only donate beer to non-profit/charity organizations and events where 100% of the proceeds go towards a charitable cause. If your organization/event does not meet these criteria we are unable to donate beer to you. See our donations page for more details.
If your event/organization meets the above criteria we will consider your request, but due to the large volume of donation requests we receive, we are not able to grant all requests. We are also unable to provide representatives or bar equipment for serving donated beer.
All out-of-state beer donations must go through our distributor in your area, so please contact them (see contact info in Distribution FAQs). If we do not have distribution in your state, we are unable to donate beer.

We also periodically send some of our special release beers to Tavour. If we don’t distribute in your area, it’s a great way to get some of our beers!
If you live outside of our distribution territories and want to purchase our beers, our friends at Edmund’s Oast Exchange will probably ship it to you!
Thanks for your interest! Please send an introduction via our contact form and we will get back to you.
Mexican Cake is released once each year in early May. Barrel-aged Mexican Cake is usually released in November or December. The exact release date is announced 3-5 days beforehand.
We have the following position(s) available. Click on the job title to view the job description and application instructions.
Regular (non barrel-aged) Mexican Cake is available at the brewery and is also distributed to all of our distribution territories (see above). It usually sells out at all locations quickly, so keep in touch with your favorite beer retailer around release time to make sure you don’t miss out. Due to logistical and shipping issues, some distribution territories may not receive their Mexican Cake until June. We do not know when individual retailers will receive their deliveries. Barrel-aged Mexican Cake is sold only from the brewery.
If you miss out during the regular release times, we have bottles of several years of regular and barrel-aged Mexican Cake available in the Tasting Room for on-premise consumption only.
No, we do not take reservations or hold bottles of Mexican Cake or Barrel-aged Mexican Cake. All sales are on a first come, first served basis.
Per person bottle limits on regular Mexican Cake and Mexican Coffee Cake vary depending on the expected demand and the total amount available for sale and will be posted in the Tasting Room. Bottle limits for Barrel-Aged Mexican Cake also vary from year to year and will be specified when we announce the release date.
The only release that is guaranteed to be announced beforehand is Barrel-Aged Mexican Cake. Any announcements will be made on our Facebook page up to a few days before the release. Specific details of the release (tickets, bottle limits, etc.) will be specified at that time. Brewery releases for regular Mexican Cake and Mexican Coffee Cake will most likely be “silent” (unannounced). We do this to reduce the impact on our normal taproom operations and to give our local customers a better chance at getting these beers.
