Double Blueberry Yuzu Creamsicle Milkshake is an 8.5% milkshake style IPA that we dry hopped with Galaxy, Citra, Mosaic, and Azacca, then blasted with blueberry and yuzu fruit purees and topped off with Madagascar vanilla. Whew! Available at the brewery today, and going to limited SC distribution soon. *contains lactose*

Introducing 2021 Bourbon Barrel Aged Triple Coconut Mexican Cake! This was the favorite variant from last year's release so we brought it back, except this year's version was aged for 2 full years in Heaven Hill bourbon barrels (last year's came from Highwire whiskey barrels and was 1 year old). A triple infusion process with 3 types of coconut give this beer an explosion of intense coconut flavors.

And also introducing 2021 Bourbon Barrel Aged Mexican Cake "Extra Viejo"! We pulled two 4+ year old barrels from our stout library and gave them the Mexican Cake treatment, with the added twist of dried guajillo chiles for some extra complexity. This is a fun one!

@heronfarms recently reached out to us about using some of their sea beans in a beer and we couldn’t have been more excited about the opportunity.

Heron Farms built and operates the worlds first indoor vertical saltwater farm here in Charleston, where they grow Sea Beans. Sea Beans are an all-natural plant with a fresh, clean, salty taste.
.
Right away, we knew this was going to be a fun project. We set out to create a beer that was complex and refreshing, while also complimenting the saltiness of the Sea Beans. We ran through a couple ideas and finally settled on a “Biere De Coupage”. In short, this style comes from French farmhouse tradition, and is a blend of young fresh beer and aged sour beer.

With that said, we present to you “Marais Salant”. Meaning salt marsh in French, Marais Salant is a blend of 65% of fresh lager beer and 35% sour beer aged for 2 years in one of our oak foudres. We rested the blend on Heron Farms Sea Beans and fresh squeezed limes until the flavors melded together in perfect harmony. The result is a pleasantly crisp, tart, and refreshing beer with complex notes of salt and bright lime.

10% of sales will go back to Heron Farms to help benefit saltmarsh restoration. Available at the brewery and will see limited distribution in SC.
