Westbrook/Angry Chair Barrel Aged Imperial Mexican Chocolate Cupcake Bottle Release

𝙱𝙰𝚁𝚁𝙴𝙻 𝙰𝙶𝙴𝙳 𝙸𝙼𝙿𝙴𝚁𝙸𝙰𝙻 𝙼𝙴𝚇𝙸𝙲𝙰𝙽 𝙲𝙷𝙾𝙲𝙾𝙻𝙰𝚃𝙴 𝙲𝚄𝙿𝙲𝙰𝙺𝙴
One of our truest and most favorite collaborative efforts yet started at here at Westbrook, where we hand selected a couple bourbon barrels filled with our base imperial stout. Then, we treated it with cacao nibs, cinnamon, vanilla and habanero peppers (the Mexican Cake treatment) We then sent that beer down to our dudes at Angry Chair in Tampa. They picked 3 of their own bourbon barrels that best fit the profile, and then they smacked it with coconut, cacao nibs and vanilla (their Imperial German Chocolate Cupcake treatment).
The end result is the best of both worlds. Rich and decadent coconut complimented by moderate habanero spice with a twang of cinnamon on top of a chocolate cupcake base. We are very pleased with how this came out! Releasing in our tasting room AND Angry Chair’s tasting room this Saturday, December 4th. Weeeeeerd!
